Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario will unfortunately be unable to join their dance group, Streetboys, for the upcoming “THE SIGN ‘90s Supershow: A Benefit Concert,” as confirmed by Christopher Cruz and Meynard Marcellano on April 9.
Cruz explained that both Navarro and Hilario had prior commitments on the night of the concert, making it impossible for them to participate in the show.
‘pag-April 19, gustuhin man nilang sumama, eh hindi po talaga kaya. ‘Yun po talaga,” Cruz elaborated.
Despite the absence of Navarro and Hilario, Marcellano shared positive news that other Streetboys members, Sphencer Reyes, Michael Sesmundo, and Danilo Barrios, have enthusiastically stepped in to ensure an energetic performance at what promises to be the biggest gathering of ’90s dance groups to date, organized by Wildcat Queens Travel and Tours Ltd.
“As much as possible na pinilit po naming maging kumpleto. So as much as we can, tina-try po naming maging kumpleto,” Marcellano added.
Although the full lineup of Streetboys won’t be present, Marcellano clarified that the members often come together for events. Recently, they performed at a charity event at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and had a reunion during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special last December.
The absence of Navarro and Hilario won’t dampen the spirit of the concert, as Cruz and Marcellano expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to perform at the biggest dance concert in Philippine history, organized by Wildcats Queens Travel and Tours Ltd.
Meanwhile, fans of Streetboys can expect a fresh series of moves that will surely captivate the audience.
“Expect the unexpected,” he concluded.
