‘Senior High’ star Miggy Jimenez admitted on March 13, that there were times he had given up on acting and tried to pursue other careers.
In an interview with LionhearTV at the Star Magic’s Spotlight press conference at Limbaga 77, Quezon City, Jimenez shared his struggles with his career as an actor, to the point he wanted to just give up.
There was even a time during the casting of Senior High when changing careers crossed his mind. He felt he was just wasting time, and would rather find a much more stable profession.
“For example, like with Senior High, si Sir Deo [Endrinal] pinatawag ako. From meeting, from pitching, andoon siguro ako a week before bago niya ako sabihan.
Then sir Deo came with a blessing. That’s how it started.”
He realized that something was stopping him from entirely giving up.
“Every time na gagawin ko ang step na iyon, may papasok lagi. so kung kailan na on the verge ka na pa-give up, something comes.

Jimenez is now part of Star Magic and has realized, “Not everything happens overnight. Be patient. Know what you really want to do. If meron kang tiyaga, laging merong lalabas na reward.”
