In light of the recent collaboration between former rival networks, notable changes are in store for the noontime show ‘Eat Bulaga!’ on TV5.
During the latest live episode on Thursday, avid viewers of the iconic program witnessed several alterations to the format.
Previously, the segment ‘Peraphy’ typically served as the final segment, hosted by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon. However, it was incorporated into the show immediately after the opening number, where the iconic trio and the entire roster of Dabarkads hosts performed VST & Company’s 1979 hit song ‘Rock Baby Rock.’
Following this performance, Master Henyo Joey announced that the aforementioned song would bring luck to viewers, hinting at more prizes to be given away in their new segment.
In the ‘Peraphy’ segment, Bossing Vic announced that viewers should stay tuned for ‘SG’ during the Saturday episode of ‘Eat Bulaga.’ While the hosts didn’t provide many clues about it, viewers were left intrigued.
Joey humorously interjected, “SG? Sa Gedli?” before playfully covering his face.
Viewers were left speculating about the meaning of ‘SG,’ with some suggesting it could refer to Sarah Geronimo, the wife of Pauleen Luna-Sotto.
Nevertheless, viewers thoroughly enjoyed the anticipated segments “Gimme 5: Laro ng mga Henyo” and “Sugod Bahay mga Kapatid,” where the noontime show threw a birthday party for a resident of Brgy. Anunas, Angeles, Pampanga.
It was revealed that the chosen letter-sender of ‘Dear Eat Bulaga’ would receive a prize, as announced by Henyo Master. The recipient proudly flaunted her status as a legitimate Dabarkad since 1979.
Excitement is already brewing for the upcoming episodes of ‘EB,’ as ‘Eat Bulaga’ gears up for April 6, the first day it will go head-to-head with the Kapamilya noontime show on GMA Network.
TVJ has hinted at several surprises to watch out for in the coming days of their noontime show.
Additionally, ‘Eat Bulaga’ is set to feature ‘Lenten Drama Specials’ from Monday to Wednesday next week, promising viewers even more surprises.
As the days inch closer to April 6, anticipation is mounting for the thrilling developments on the noontime show. Expect nothing short of spectacular surprises!
