Now in its 7th year, Embrace Organization for Differently Abled Inc. continues its mission to reach out and empower differently abled members of society through their Embrace Café. It is a non-stock and non-profit organization providing services like therapy, skills training, and livelihood programs.
Meanwhile, the Embrace organization spearheaded a 3-day event at the EVM Convention Center from March 18-20 with the theme “A Different Cinema: Celebrating Persons with Disability,” where they offered film showings that are family-oriented and child-friendly.
They also organized a bazaar for those who wanted to learn about different organizations and groups that empower differently abled individuals. Additionally, the local government of Quezon City supported the event by providing a Persons with Disability Affairs Office help desk that would answer questions and accept registrations/renewals for PWD cards, which was very helpful.
