Several hosts of the noontime show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ became visibly emotional during its closing moments on Saturday, March 2.
The atmosphere was laden with speculation regarding the fate of the show amidst rumors of its possible termination on the GMA Network.
‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ was introduced by TAPE Inc. as a replacement for ‘Eat Bulaga’ after the court granted Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon the rights to the title.
Reports indicate that beginning Monday, March 4, only reruns will occupy GMA Network’s noontime slot.
During the penultimate episode, hosts Paolo Contis and Isko Moreno took a moment to express their gratitude to viewers and advertisers.
“Anuman ang gawin mo at anumang problemang kakaharapin, do everything for love. At siyempre, thank you sa ating mga advertiser and supporters at mga Kapuso natin,” said Isko, visibly moved.
Following their poignant messages, the hosts shared a final bow together, marking the end of an era. The episode was later uploaded to their YouTube account under the title “Tahanang Pinakamasaya: Paalam mga Kapuso! Hanggang sa muli.”
As of now, both GMA Network and TAPE Inc. have refrained from issuing an official statement regarding the show’s fate, leaving viewers and fans in anticipation of further developments.
