On February 7, Kapamilya star Xyriel Manabat addressed whether she was open to continuing her on-screen pairing with Elijah Canlas from Senior High.
At a media conference at the Limbaga 77 Cafe, which LionhearTV covered, Manabat clarified that she wants to remain a solo artist but remained open to the possibility of having love interests in future projects.
“Pero, kung gagampanan at gagampanan po ‘yung role, wala po akong problema doon and as long as maganda po ‘yung story.”
She also affirmed that she would love to work with her Senior High co-star, Elijah Canlas, in future projects.
“Wala po akong problema if si Gelo naman po ‘yung makakatambal ko kasi sobrang professional po ni Gelo and sobrang help po niya. Small scenes, or big scenes na feeling ko hindi ko kaya, sobrang big help po si Gelo for me.”
She even hinted at a possibility of a sequel to Senior High, citing how Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes expressed interest in pushing for a continuation of the TV show.
And sana po talaga, sana matuloy.
Manabat starred in the Kapamilya series Senior High with Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, Juan Karlos, Zaijian Jaranilla, Miggy Jimenez, and many more.
