On January 23, actor Aga Muhlach highlighted how his daughter Atasha Muhlach’s singing talent came from his wife, Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach.
During the media conference for Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin at the Viva Cafe, which LionhearTV covered, Muhlach clarified that while his wife had musical talent, their daughter may have inherited his guts and self-confidence in singing.
And then mahiyain kasi si Charlene.
He then talked about being musically inclined, especially when performing with a band.
“I’m a frustrated singer, kapag concerts nanonood ako, nahi-hit ako talaga, parang I love to perform on stage, parang mahilig akong kumanta kaya lang, wala eh.
He also recounted his experience performing on stage with OPM artists such as Side A, Gary V, and Piolo Pascual.
“Pero masaya, I’ve experienced that, I did concerts, sa abroad, with the Side A band. Ganon kami dati, magtu-tour kami. Tapos dito naman I experienced that when I promote sa ASAP. Kasama ko sila Gary, sila Piolo, sila ganyan.
He also noted his performance with Leah Salonga at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
As for their film, Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin stars Aga Muhlach and Julia Barreto.
Under the direction of Denise O’Hara, Ikaw Pa Rin ang Pipiliin, under Viva Films, opens in cinemas on February 7.
