Kapamilya romantic-drama teleserye ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ continues to dominate the ratings race after its move to a new timeslot.
This week, CBML transferred to the third slot in primetime, and according to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, the teleserye maintained its leading position.
On Monday, January 22, CBML achieved a rating of 4.7 percent, surpassing its rival Kapuso drama series ‘Asawa Ng Asawa Ko (ANAK)’ by 0.4 percent, as ANAK garnered 4.3 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, January 23, the DonBelle series showed further improvement, increasing its rating by 1.3 percent to 6.0 percent, once again overpowering ANAK by 1.2 percent, which scored 4.8 percent.
Before the timeslot change, CBML dominated Primetime Bida’s second spot. On Monday, January 15, CBML scored 7.7 percent, surpassing ‘Love.Die.Repeat’s (LDR)’ 7.3 percent. This trend continued on Tuesday, January 16, with CBML maintaining its lead at 7.7 percent against LDR’s 7.5 percent.
The winning streak persisted on Wednesday, January 17, as CBML posted a rating of 7.6 percent against LDR’s 7.3 percent. This trend was sustained with a higher rating margin on Thursday, January 18, as CBML registered a rating of 8.6 percent, leading LDR by 2 percent at 6.6 percent.
CBML successfully concluded the week on Friday, January 19, with a score of 8.2 percent, surpassing LDR’s 7.6 percent.
With its seamless transition to the new timeslot, CBML is expected to follow the success of Senior High in the third slot.
