On January 14, It’s Showtime Expecially For You’s Kyosu Guinto and Jaja Disuanco discussed how they plan to handle fans pushing them to get back together.
During the AsterisK Entertainment Kick-Off 2024 event at the Cities Events Place in Quezon City, which LionhearTV covered, Jaja first clarified that she and Kyosu remained friends after their breakup.
“We’re just friends po talaga, ‘yun nga po katulad ng sinabi namin before, go with the flow lang. Sa mga pangyayari, kung ano ‘yung sa aming dalawa. Pero, ‘yun nga po napakilala ko na po siya sa parents ko and di na lang po namin alam kung ano ‘yung next step, basta chill lang po kami at hindi po kami nagmamadali sa mga ganito kasi ang dami po talagang opportunitie na dumarating, basta ‘yun, kung ano ‘yung ibigay ni Lord sa amin.”
Kyosu and Jaja gained popularity among fans during the It’s Showtime Segment Expecially For You, wherein the two talked about breaking up and expressing how much they still care for each other.
Jaja then addressed those who still hope the two may end up back together, citing how the exes-turned-on-screen-pairing would focus on career opportunities instead.
“Ayun po, tinatanggap na lang po namin, kung ano ‘yung ibigay nila, tatatanggapin at tatanggapin po namin, kasi sayang naman po. So, ayun nga po, sabi ng ibang tao, kung anong darating sa inyo na opportunity, tanggapin at tanggapin niyo, kasi hindi ninyo naman ine-expect ‘yung mangyayari sa inyo at kung anong magiging maganda talaga para sa amin.”
Kyosu agreed with Jaja, citing how they plan to grab whichever opportunity may come their way.
“Mag-risk at mag-risk sa ganong opportunity kasi hindi po natin alam kung kailan mangyayari ulit, so kunin na lang natin ‘yun, i-grab na lang natin ‘yung opportunity.”
As for their new management, Kyosu and Jaja are among the 31 artists launched with AsterisK Entertainment, co-managed under various entertainment companies such as Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Net25 Star Center, Cornerstone Entertainment, and Viva Artist Agency.
These 31 artists include Jaja Disuanco, Kyosu Guinto, Ayumi Takezawa, Kurt Rivera, Dana Davids, Arwen Cruz, Steven Nacpil, Ice Reyes, Hannah Balahadia, Trajan Moreno, Keith Moreno, Erico Ricbar, Mianne Fajardo, Steel Remington, Ayana Quizon, Athalia Badere, Cass Carpina, and PPOP groups Trainee AE, A-Class, and Project Z.
