On January 6, Viva artist Christine Bermas highlighted how she and her beau, Nico Locco, support each other.
At the media conference for Bedspacer, which LionhearTV covered, Bermas remarked how she and Locco understand how their respective showbiz careers work.
“No, kasi, we’re in this industry, and we’re in the same agency. We work in Vivamax, [we] expect these things to happen, and [we] support each other. ‘Yun lang ang nagma-matter for each of us is to [support] each other.”
She discussed how Locco changed her mindset toward her career through self-advocacy and socializing with others.
“Siguro, hindi ko rin alam eh, parang biglang dumating. Parang I’d say na parang may changes na dumating sa life ko and for me to experience more, to explore more, to grow more, parang nakita ko ‘yun sa kaniya.
“Because I was an introvert person before, but then when I met that guy, natutunan ko na makipag-socialize sa ibang people, natutunan ko na to stand up for myself, speak up for myself, na parang ayaw kong mag-stuck sa old me, na self ko.”
She then recounted meeting Locco’s family during their trip to Canada.
“‘Yung family niya, sobrang bait ng family niya, wala akong masasabi sa family niya kasi they raised him really well, and sobrang loved ng family niya si Nico. More on noong nagkaroon kami ng time to bond with his family, mas nakita ko ‘yung love sa kanilang lahat. Like strong ‘yung family nila and palaging love ‘yung shino-show nila to each other. Okay naman sila, very welcoming.”
Bermas and Locco confirmed their relationship in August 2023.
As for their movie, Bedspacer stars Christine Bermas and Micaella Raz with Aria Bench, Aila Cruz, Matthew Francisco, JD Aguas, and Rash Flores.
Under the direction of Carlo Gallen Obispo, Bedspacer began streaming on Vivamax on January 5, 2024.
