Showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin is weighing the option of legal action against John Soberano, the father of actress Liza Soberano, following his use of offensive language against Fermin and Ogie Diaz.
In the latest episode of ‘Showbiz Now Na,’ Cristy engaged in a discussion with Romel Chika and Wendell Alvarez regarding John Soberano’s disparaging remarks against them.
Earlier, John had posted derogatory comments on his Facebook account, targeting Cristy and Ogie. This raised eyebrows as the prevalent topic during that period was the separation of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, popularly known as KathNiel.
At present, John has deleted the posts containing offensive remarks, particularly those aimed at Cristy and Ogie, suggesting their supposed meddling in the lives of celebrities.
Cristy stressed that there are appropriate channels to address concerns, especially since Ogie had been their talent manager for several years.
With the holiday season approaching and gift-giving becoming customary, Cristy has a special gift in mind for John.
As of now, there has been no statement or reaction from Liza’s father regarding the legal action initiated by the columnist against his social media posts
