Hailing from Okinawa, the three-piece band HOME has released their first official EP HOME EP, a culmination of a successful year for HOME which saw the releases of singles ‘Lucy’, ‘JOHJI’ and ‘Maybe I should die with you’.
Besides the three already released tracks, the new EP will also feature new songs ‘ai no uta (Love Song)’ and ‘lululu’.
The indie rock trio was formed in Okinawa in 2020, and released their first official single ‘Lucy’ in August this year, quickly attracting the attention of fans in the region with their distinct sounds that bring together elements of indie rock and hip hop.
To commemorate the launch of their first EP, HOME will also be holding their EP release party next March across two sessions – 16 March at CIRCUS TOKYO and 17 March at CIRCUS OSAKA.
While HOME is still relatively new to the Asian indie scene, they have already made their mark in the region this year, with performances not just in their hometown Okinawa, but also at high-profile festivals across the continent.
These include Zandari Festival in South Korea, AXEAN Festival in Singapore, and LUCFest in Taiwan. They will next be seen at Music Lane Okinawa in January 2024.
