On November 23, actress Alessandra de Rossi highlighted her real-life cooking experience with the #thealessandracookingshow.
During the media event for ‘Replacing Chef Chico’ at the Makati Shangri-La, which LionhearTV covered, de Rossi revealed that she had been sharing the dishes she cooked on her own through her Instagram account.
“Ako nagluluto talaga, mayroon pa nga ako sa Instagram naka-hashtag siya, #thealessandracookingshow. ‘Yung mga dish ko pipicturan ko. Nakalimutan ko ‘yun habang ginagawa ko ‘to, tapos ‘yung mga friends ko lang nagpa-alala, it’s the Alessandra cooking show.”
She also appreciated their chef training for their roles in the Netflix series.
“Masaya ‘yung one week na culinary training namin, talagang confident na confident kami pagdating sa set. You know, ‘yung porma, ‘yung tamang paghawak ng mga tools mo ganon. So chill naman.”
She also acknowledged how stressful the job of chefs is after portraying her role in Replacing Chef Chico.
“Stressful sa loob ng kitchen, like seriously stressful. Like ako, sure na ako ayaw kong maging chef, gusto kong maging sous-chef, hanggang doon lang ako. Pero kung chef, ang hirap.”
As for their roles, Replacing Chef Chico stars Alessandra De Rossi, Piolo Pascual, and Sam Milby.
Under the direction of Dan Villegas and a screenplay by Antoinette Jadaone, Replacing Chef Chico streams on Netflix starting November 24.Â
