After the successful collaboration project between ABS-CBN and GMA Network, “Unbreak My Heart,” Kapuso presents its latest late-night drama series, “Lovers/Liars.” How did the premiere episode fare in TV ratings?
According to the most recent ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, “Lovers/Liars” made a respectable entry into the ratings game.
On Monday, November 20, “Lovers/Liars” premiered with a rating of 4.5 percent, securing the 12th spot on the overall ratings chart. The Kapuso series outperformed its rival, “Senior High,” which garnered a rating of 4.0 percent.
While “Lovers/Liars” maintained GMA Network’s primetime leadership in the 3rd slot, its pilot ratings were noticeably lower than its predecessor, “Unbreak My Heart.” In May 2023, “Unbreak My Heart” premiered with a rating of 6.9 percent, 2.4 percent higher than “Lovers/Liars.”
Even in comparison to the finale ratings of “Unbreak My Heart,” “Lovers/Liars” fell short by 2 percent, as the former concluded with a rating of 6.5 percent.
Beyond TV ratings, GMA Network’s latest primetime series also garnered positive reviews from netizens.
