Actress Rhian Ramos has expressed her dissatisfaction after watching an online video that allegedly captures Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip interacting with Filipina beauty queen Michelle Dee.
In the video, Anne can be heard speaking in her native language, with only the phrase ‘move on’ being recognizable to Filipino pageant fans, including Rhian.
Rhian interpreted the video as a sign of disrespect towards Michelle.
“I don’t like how this looks. My stomach is turning. Buti marespeto ‘yung kaibigan ko, eh sila?” said Rhian. “Ewan. Kayo na lang ang humusga.”
Meanwhile, a Filipina teaching in Thailand translated Anne’s words, stating that the businesswoman was addressing Thai pageant fans.
“She said, Stop saying can’t move on and that she’ll make a song titled ‘Can’t Move On’ because many Thai fans can’t move on. She also said not to get angry with the Thais because the result is good for Thailand, just be happy,” netizen mentioned.

Other netizens accused Anne of attempting to escort Michelle out during the competition.
As of now, Anne has yet to respond to the criticism from Filipino pageant fans skeptical of her decision to acquire the Miss Universe Organization.
Miss Nicaragua clinched the crown, outshining over 80 contestants worldwide, while Miss Thailand and Miss Australia secured the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.
Unfortunately, Michelle Dee, the Philippine representative, made it to the Top 10 but did not advance to the Top 5 finalists.
Michelle Dee had aimed to become the fifth Filipina to be crowned Miss Universe, following the footsteps of Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray. Despite intensive training, she fell short of achieving the title.
