On November 16, Viva artists Vince Rillon and Matthew Francisco discussed what they learned from seasoned actor Ronnie Lazaro.
At the media conference for their four-part series ‘Araro,’ which LionhearTV covered, Rillon and Francisco answered whether they saw any of Lazaro’s previous projects, especially those with frontal nudity.
Rillon responded, “Ako po wala po akong nakitang frontal ni Tito Ronnie, pero alam ko magaling siyang actor. Pero, wala po akong nakita sa kaniyang frontal movie.”
Francisco acknowledged the significance of working and learning with the seasoned actor.
“Ako first time working with Tito Ronnie, and noong nalaman ko ‘yun, na-excite and at the same time kinabahan di ba? Kasi alam ko na he’s a serious actor and one of the best ones talaga. So sa part ko. ‘Yun nga kinabahan, kailangan ibigay mo rin ‘yung best mo sa mga eksena na kasama si Tito Ronnie.”
As for Lazaro, he cited to his co-actors that acting is a continuous process of learning and improving.
“Ang pag-aaral ng craft, patuloy ‘yan. Kasi buhay ‘yan eh, gumaganap tayo ng buhay, kumbaga ang buhay makulay, malawak, may versions ‘yan, ano man mga nuances ng buhay, palagi kang nag-aaral eh in my case. And aside from that, galingan mo ang pagganap mo, mahalin mo, but be a professional also.”
As for the four-part series, ‘Araro’ stars Vince Rillon, Micaella Raz, and Robb Guinto.
The cast also features Arah Alonzo, Dyessa Garcia, Cess Garcia, Jenn Rosa, Caira Lee, Vern Kaye, Ronnie Lazaro, Matthew Francisco, Raffy Tejada, Vino Gonzales, Horace Mendoza, Vino Gonzales, Upeng Galang Fernandez, and John Mark Pangilinan.
‘Araro,’ under the direction of Topel Lee, starts streaming on November 19 via Vivamax.
