Actress Carla Abellana, currently featured in the GMA Afternoon Prime drama ‘Stolen Life,’ is optimistic about the prospect of extending her contract with GMA Network.
During a recent media conference, Abellana was questioned about potential offers from the network following her participation in the ongoing series.
Although currently under the management of Triple A Productions led by Mike Tuviera, Abellana is still in the negotiation phase with GMA Network.
Expressing her desire for a favorable outcome, she stated, “Siyempre po, maganda po ‘yung Pasko na maganda rin ang news. Magandang Christmas gift po sa akin ‘yun pag naging okey po yung negotiations nila.”
“Pakiramdam ko naman po, hindi ito ang last, hindi lamang may kasunod, may mga magiging kasunod pa. Iyon po ang hope ko.”
Abellana’s contract with the network concluded in May, and she places significant importance on the continuation of her partnership with GMA Network. Dismissing earlier rumors about a potential transfer to ABS-CBN and a guesting stint on ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ Abellana clarified that she has no knowledge of such reports.
At present, Abellana is hopeful for additional projects from GMA Network, emphasizing the completion of filming for ‘Stolen Life,’ where she shares the screen with Gabby Concepcion and Beauty Gonzalez. The series airs daily at 3:20 pm, following ‘Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap.’
A dedicated Kapuso since 2009, Abellana expressed gratitude to the network for providing her with opportunities for growth as an actress. She considers GMA Network her home and takes pride in being part of the Kapuso family.
