Kaila Estrada is quickly making a name for herself, showcasing her talent through her compelling portrayal of Sylvia in the television series ‘Linlang.’
The young actress is relishing the opportunity to carve her path in the competitive world of show business.
Kaila’s parents, Janice de Belen and John Estrada, are industry veterans, but she appreciates that they have given her the freedom to find her own way. While they offer guidance when she seeks it, they empower her to navigate her own journey.
“I am super grateful they let me do this on my own. They let me figure out my way into show business. I feel that this has made me cherish it more because I know how much work I’ve put in,” Kaila expressed. “They give advice when I ask but only when I ask. Other than that, they give me freedom to figure things out. When I mess up, they are always there to comfort me.”
Kaila extends her appreciation to all the viewers who have praised her performance in the series, recognizing the significance of positive feedback for an actress. She has learned a great deal from the experience, and the validation she receives from the audience is deeply meaningful to her.
“I’m grateful for it. It taught me a lot, and those are the times when you truly learn. That’s when I learn the most. I feel validated. This project was quite intimidating. It is for professionals, the senior actors are so good, at the very least, I wanted to be on the same level as them. It required a lot of mental preparation to get myself ready,” she explained.
Besides ‘Linlang,’ Kaila can also be seen in ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ starring Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan.
If given the opportunity, she aspires to work on an action-themed project.
“I want to try action at least once, but I really want to give it a shot. I love watching it. I know it’s tough, physically demanding. I want to do a suspense thriller, a psycho character. Something different, I’m very interested in exploring that. I’m very inspired by Anne Curtis’s movie Buy Bust. I really want to do action,” she shared.
