On October 13, Kapuso music artist Anton Paras remarked he wanted to collaborate with Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose.
At the media event for his new single ‘Can’t Wait,’ which LionhearTV covered, Paras said he had always wanted to work with San Jose, noting how he could compliment her voice.
“Gusto ko po talaga makasama sa isang kanta si Miss Julie Anne San Jose, lagi ko po ‘yung sinasabi kahit before pa po noong mga first interviews ko pa lang po, sabi po, ‘Sinong gusto mong maka-collab?’ Lagi ko po sinasabi si Miss Julie Anne San Jose.
“Super nagagandahan po ako sa boses niya and feel ko po parang kaya ko pong mag-compliment doon sa voice niya.”
However, he admitted that he had not yet met Asia’s Limitless Star.
“Wala pa po, never ka po siyang na-meet.
“Wala pa po, minsan, ilang times pa lang po ako nakapunta wala po siya.”
He then voiced his message to San Jose about possibly working with each other in a future collaboration.
“Hello po Miss Julie Anne San Jose, sana po makasama po kita sa isang kanta, either original or kahit cover lang po. Sana po maano po natin.”
As a music artist, Paras highlighted his goal to inspire aspiring musicians.
“My mission po is to influence other singers who wants to share their talents and parang makapagbigay po sa mga kabataan po na to pursue their dreams, kasi wala naman pong mawawala if they try to pursue their dreams.
“And my goal po is to be a successful singer. Hopefully, and sana po, ‘yun po, I can achieve all my dreams as a singer.”
As for Paras’ latest single, ‘Can’t Wait’ is his latest venture into Pop R&B, expressing music about long-distance relationships.
He previously released ‘All I Need’ and ‘Binabalewala’ under GMA Music’s sub-label, Alt-G Records.
