The noontime ratings competition continues to favor the two long-standing programs, E.A.T. and ‘Eat Bulaga!’, while ABS-CBN’s ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ (IYLD) lags significantly behind.
According to the most recent ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, E.A.T. maintained its leadership in the noontime slot, closely followed by ‘Eat Bulaga!’ in second place, while ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ (IYLD), which replaced ‘It’s Showtime,’ remained in a distant third position.
On Monday, October 16, E.A.T. secured a 4.2 percent rating, ranking 12th in the ratings chart, with ‘Eat Bulaga!’ following closely behind at 3.5 percent, taking the 17th spot. IYLD, on the other hand, ranked 20th with a rating of 2.6 percent.
Moving on to Tuesday, October 17, E.A.T. maintained its 12th position with a 4.4 percent rating with ‘Eat Bulaga!’ trailing at 3.4 percent. ABS-CBN’s IYLD, unfortunately, fell to the 22nd spot after registering a rating of 2.1 percent.
As the week progressed to Wednesday, October 18, E.A.T. continued to hold the 12th position, achieving a 4.8 percent rating, while ‘Eat Bulaga!’ followed in the 16th spot with a rating of 3.5 percent. IYLD, unfortunately, slid further to the 25th position with a rating of 1.8 percent.
On Thursday, October 19, E.A.T. maintained its consistent 12th ranking with a 4.4 percent rating. ‘Eat Bulaga!’ also held onto the number 2 position in the noontime slot with a rating of 3.8 percent, securing the 15th spot in the ratings board. IYLD, however, showed some improvement, climbing to the 21st spot with a rating of 2.3 percent.
Will this rating trend persist, or will the return of ‘It’s Showtime’ next week bring disruption and pose a threat to the dominant positions of the two leading noontime shows?
