On October 4, Kapamilya Love team Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano (DonBelle) discussed their views on dating and finances.
At the media event for ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ which LionhearTV covered, Mariano remarked that loving someone wouldn’t require her to focus on their financial capabilities.
“Yeah, kasi ‘yung pagmamahal hindi naman nasusukat ng pera ‘yan. So okay lang.”
Pangilinan agreed with Mariano, clarifying that as long as a couple have the same goals in life, they could still go on dates without involving money.
“I agree with her, pero I also think that you should also be aligned with your partner. So if your goals are aligned na ang ‘yung focus ninyong dalawa ay magdate-date muna, kasi ang hirap noon kung gusto ninyo rin mag-settle eh, wala rin kayong parang savings and stuff, so it depends on what you both agree on. But tama naman si Belle na hindi mo naman kailangan ng pera para magmahal.”
As for their series, ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano with Nova Villa, Rowell Santiago, Agot Isidro, and Ruffa Gutierrez.
The cast also features Darren Espanto, Chie Filomeno, Anthony Jennings, Maris Racal, Kaila Estrada, Albie Casiño, Joao Constancia, Ketchup Eusebio, Vivoree Esclito, Karino Bautista, Alora Samsam, and Hyubs Azarcon.
Under the direction of Mae Cruz-Alviar, ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ premieres on Netflix on October 13, three days ahead of its free TV airing and 24 hours before the series shows on pay TV.
It will also air on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, TFC, A2Z, and TV5 starting October 16.
