On October 2, Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu admitted her fears that Pinoy viewers wouldn’t support her upcoming Prime Video series, ‘Linlang.’
At the media event for ‘Linlang,’ which LionhearTV covered, Chiu acknowledged her fears regarding the success of their show, citing how hard the entire cast worked on the upcoming Prime Video series.
“Sa ngayon, ang kinakatakot ko ay hindi siya suportahan ng mga tao. Siyempre wala namang may gusto ng may gagawa ka ng proyekto, tapos hindi siya sususportahan kaya ang pinaka-pinagdadasal ko talaga eh sana po, suportahan ninyo po ‘yung ginawa naming obra na talagang pinagtulung-tulungan namin. Binigay talaga namin lahat. Wala nga kaming tinira.”
Aside from the success of ‘Linglang’ with Pinoy viewers, Chiu also prayed for their series to get international recognition from Amazon Prime users.
“Pero, ‘yun ‘yung pinagdadasal talaga namin. I pray that this project will be –‘yung nga shown worldwide and I pray for the success of Linlang, kasi we all did our part as an actor, from the directors, from the writers, the creatives, kahit sa camera man, ‘yung shot na ‘yun, sa cameraman, salamat po na nainis po si ano sa shot na ‘yun. Si Direk salamat sa effort.
“So parang ‘yun lang ‘yung kinakakot ko, the rest mainis man kayo kay Juliana, deserve niya ‘yun.”
