Lian Paz, the former spouse of actor Paolo Contis, recently shared an emotional reflection on her past struggles while raising their children.
In an Instagram post, Lian revealed that she had considered working abroad as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) to secure a better future for her two children, Xonia and Xalene.
“This day was tiring yet fulfilling. Looking back to the time i was thinking to go out of the country to work para sa future ng mga bata,” Lian shared in her heartfelt post. “Waaaahh naiiyak ako iniisip ko pa lang, Kaya isa to sa napakalaking grasya ng diyos na hindi niya ko hinayaan umabot doon.”
Expressing her gratitude, Lian Paz thanked God for not allowing her to be separated from her beloved children. She expressed profound appreciation for the faithful guidance and support she had received from the Lord throughout her journey.

It’s worth noting that earlier this year, Paolo Contis had openly admitted that he was not providing child support for their daughters. However, he clarified that he was diligently saving money for their future and hoped to directly provide for their needs in due course.
This reflection from Lian Paz comes in the wake of a previous controversy involving Paolo Contis, who acknowledged not providing child support for their children. In response, Lian had shared her thoughts on overcoming trials with faith in a Facebook post in February.
Lian’s post received significant attention as she drew inspiration from her own experiences and related them to a church service she had attended. She emphasized the importance of faith in overcoming life’s challenges, ultimately expressing her unwavering trust in God’s guidance and support.
