On September 18, Kapuso stars Bea Alonzo and Dennis Trillo talked about their reunion after 20 years.
During the ‘Love Before Sunrise’ Press Con at SM Megamall Cinema 2, which LionhearTV covered, Alonzo recounted how they began their careers in ABS-CBN’s Star Circle Batch 10 in 2001.
“No, for me, it feels familiar, but at the same time, it feels all new. So it’s a different feeling. But I like this feeling because there’s this level of trust kasi pareho kaming ni-launch at the [same] time in Star Circle di ba? So, somehow, I feel na I can trust him.”
She also remarked that despite working in different networks, she remained a fan of Trillo from the sidelines.
“And I feel na kahit na magkalayo kami ng matagal na panahon, talagang– naging fan niya ako eh, from the sidelines. [Like] how I [would] always cheer for [him and always] root for him in his different projects, and I saw him grow as an actor. So, I feel lucky and honored to be [working] with him on this one.”
As for Trillo, he described working with Alonzo again as ‘magical’ while recalling their early years in showbiz.
Tapos ito after 20 years, gagawa nanaman kami ng isang napakagandang proyekto.”
He also considered himself blessed and proud to be working with Alonzo again.
As for their upcoming series, ‘Love Before Sunrise’ stars Bea Alonzo, Dennis Trillo, Andrea Torres, and Sid Lucero.
