Award-winning and seasoned dramatic actor, Christopher, may be already 66 years old, but to his fans, he is never too old to be anybody’s dream daddy—if you get what I mean. De Leon has interestingly made the internet go crazy over his old photos, where his youthful verve and handsomeness were truly something to die for in the local entertainment. Last year, fancams of him during the principal photography of the critcally-acclaimed Star Cinema feature, Dekada ’70, spread like wildfire on social media, with many noting how the actor ‘aged like fine wine’.
Now seen every night on the currently number one entertainment TV program in the country, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, De Leon is among the most despised characters on local television. But the Friday episode proved a villain, let alone as old as De Leon, can attract smitten televiewers, too. The said episode featured the honeymoon trip of the new couple Monique/Mokang (Lovi Poe) and Ramon/Albert. In one of the scenes, De Leon sported himself shirtless, with his defined abs and chest quickly capturing the attention of the netizens the most.
