On September 8, Viva artist Yen Durano reacted to people noticing her resemblance to actress Nadine Lustre.
At the media event for ‘Patikim-tikim,’ which LionhearTV covered, Durano said she was okay with people citing her resemblance with a good person like Lustre.
“I feel okay about it–there’s nothing wrong since I know she’s a good person. So it’s not to be compared to someone who’s good and has purpose. So I’m okay with that. It’s not–it’s nothing.”
She then discussed how their director, Joey Reyes, guided her with her scenes in the upcoming Vivamax film.
“Actually sabi sa akin ni Direk Joey, I was asking him, how do you want me to portray the character– as he always says, just be yourself. So ‘yun lang, it’s a chill shooting, okay naman po.”
Durano also revealed that she prefers doing sexy scenes with another female Vivamax star.
“For me, ako any naman, since in real life, I like women naman, nagagandahan, na-a-attract ako, pero I wouldn’t be really in a relationship with one, so I can recognize that.
“Mas preferred ko ‘yung girl-to-girl since mas comfy ako na alam kong hindi ako binabastos, like walang thoughts na ganon. Kasi aware rin naman ako eh, especially with love scenes with guys, I know–, I’m just doing work, but diyan ka lang, do your job. May boundaries lang, I set my boundaries kasi I don’t want them to feel na porket ginagawa ko ‘to pwede mo kong pag-isipan ng ganyan.”
As for their upcoming movie, ‘Patikim-tikim’ stars Yen Durano, Apple Dy, and Chloe Jenna.
The cast also features Aerol Carmelo, Jaggy Lejano, and Enzo Santiago.
The film, under the direction of Jose Javier Reyes, streams on Vivamas starting September 15.
