Is it true that the noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ is facing more “violations” with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) due to a statement made by host Kim Chiu? The agency, led by Lala Sotto, has been closely monitoring the show recently due to various issues.
According to recent reports, Kim Chiu accidentally mentioned the word “vibrator” in an episode of the show on August 2, 2023.
A video of the said incident circulated on TikTok, showing Kim with Amy Perez and Vhong Navarro interviewing a father who was a ‘awag ng Tanghalan’ contestant.
During the interview, Kim praised the contestant’s voice timbre, saying, “Ang ganda po ng vibrator ng boses ninyo” (Your voice has a beautiful vibrator).
Vhong Navarro added, “Puwede siyang radio announcer” (He could be a radio announcer).
Kim quickly realized that she said something she shouldn’t have and corrected herself, “Vibration. Vibration ng boses.” (Vibration. The vibration of your voice).

At this point, laughter could be heard from the madlang people audience, and Vhong’s facial expression seemed like he was trying not to laugh.
This incident sparked various reactions and comments from netizens.
Nakakaloka! 😆

She said vibrator. Vibrator is wholesome word compared to "DILDO".

It is said that the verdict on the program will be released next week.
