A lighthearted moment ensued as Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai Delas Alas attempted to emulate the viral TikTok dance moves of Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, but fell short in her hilarious Instagram video post.
Marian’s trending TikTok dance, set to the tune of Jessie J’s 2011 hit single “Price Tag,” has garnered immense popularity, boasting a staggering 89 million views on TikTok alone since its upload six days ago (note: this count is from TikTok alone and doesn’t include shares and reposts across other platforms).
Amid her struggles, Ai-Ai humbly accepted that perhaps the dance move wasn’t meant for her and playfully requested Marian to come up with another one for her to try.
“Baka ‘di talaga sa akin ‘to, so kambal, gawa ka na lang ng iba he he he.”
She peppered her post with hashtags like #trendingmoneymoney, #nawalannaakongpagasa, #ibanalangsasayawinko, and #shutatalagaanongnangyaresaken.

Marian responded to Aiai’s post with a simple “Whahahahaaha kambi” comment, referring to their fond nickname for each other, “kambi” or “kambal” (twins), which originated from their collaboration in the 2013 film “Kung Fu Divas.”
In jest, Aiai replied, “Kambi sumuko na ko. Sa Oman na lang mag-Tiktok tayo, ‘wag na ganyang steppp ayoko na.”
Asked about the resurgence of her viral dance, Marian responded with a shy monkey emoji.
Later, Marian granted Aiai’s request and posted a different dance routine for her to attempt. Her latest TikTok dance post features the song “It’s Plenty” by Nigerian singer Burna Boy, with choreography created by Filipino choreographer Ken Queta. Since its upload last night, the post has already garnered 15.5M views (as of the last count), potentially surpassing the popularity of her “Price Tag” post.
The question remains, can Ai-Ai pull it off? Check out her latest post:
