The Kapuso afternoon dramas, ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap (AKNP)’ and ‘Magandang Dilag (MD),’ have once again demonstrated their daytime ratings supremacy by achieving multiple ties in ratings.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, both AKNP and ‘Magandang Dilag’ consistently tied in various instances, securing the top positions in daytime ratings.
This streak began on Wednesday, August 9, when both AKNP and MD garnered a 12.1 percent rating, securing the 4th spot in the overall ratings chart and the 1st position in daytime rankings.
Before these tied scores, AKNP had held the lead in the afternoon block with a 12.8 percent rating on Monday, August 7, closely followed by MD with a rating of 12.6 percent.
On Tuesday, August 8, AKNP continued to maintain its lead with a rating of 12.2 percent, while MD achieved a rating of 11.3 percent.
The competition remained fierce on Thursday, August 10, as AKNP and MD maintained a close race, with the former achieving a rating of 12.5 percent and the latter securing a score of 12.3 percent, resulting in a mere 0.2 percent difference.
Friday, August 11, witnessed similar outcomes, with both popular Kapuso afternoon dramas posting closely-matched ratings. AKNP recorded a rating of 11.8 percent, while MD attained a score of 11.6 percent.
At the onset of the following week, on Monday, August 14, the two dramas once again reached a tied score of 11.9 percent, securing the 4th spot in the overall ratings leaderboard.
In parallel with these impressive performances in the afternoon slot, ‘The Seed of Love (TSOL)’ also achieved noteworthy TV ratings, consistently entering double-digit scores.
On Monday, August 7, TSOL achieved a rating of 10.5 percent, placing it in the 7th position on the overall rating chart.
However, on Tuesday, August 8, the series led by Glaiza De Castro experienced a slight decline, dropping to 9.2 percent, while maintaining its 7th ranking overall.
The series swiftly rebounded on Wednesday, August 9, with a recovery of 0.6 percent, bringing its rating to 9.8 percent.
This positive trend continued on Thursday, August 10, with an increase of 0.3 percent, resulting in a 10.1 percent rating.
Despite a dip to 9.5 percent on Friday, August 11, the series immediately recovered on Monday, August 14, with a rating of 10.0 percent.
