Since their successful music collaboration for TM FunPasko in 2020 and 2021, and the heartwarming hit Push Ang Pusuan in 2021, the powerhouse team-up of pop-rock band, The Juans and 2023 Billboard winner P-pop boy group, SB19, reunite once again to create an anthem that will surely bring good vibes and inspire all their fans and Filipinos nationwide.

“Every time we collaborate with SB19, the songs we come up with are always special because we share one heartbeat of uplifting ordinary Filipinos through our music,” shared Carl Guevarra, The Juans lead vocalist. “Thanks to TM, we could come together to create songs with a message that we both believe in.”
He even added that the bond and friendship they have with SB19 continues to grow through these collaborations. Despite having different music genres, they were able to work together as a team in this project and came up with a song that every Filipino should tune in.
Team Tayo: TM’s New Anthem About Filipino Teamwork
On August 11, 2023, TM released the newest single created by its ambassadors, The Juans and SB19, marking the first-ever TM anthem. The song called “Team Tayo” draws inspiration from the everyday lives of Filipinos and how TM becomes their teammate in important times.
Coming from real life stories of Filipinos, the idea of “Team Tayo” represents the Filipino culture of teamwork by uplifting one another, being there during both successes and challenges, and to celebrate the beauty of shared experiences. It is about the spirit of community and togetherness. And when surrounded by teammates, life’s obstacles become more manageable.
“As the song says, ‘Wag kang matakot, ‘di ka nag-iisa,” said Bea Lacson, TM Business Unit Head. “We know how having someone you can lean on makes everyday challenges easier to face. That’s why with TM, Team Tayo sa buhay!”
