On August 10, Vivamax star Victor Relosa asserted he was not aiming to get any title or get called the next Vivamax King.
At the media conference for ‘Kahalili,’ which LionhearTV covered, Relosa noted that he focuses on being happy with his career.
He then affirmed that he wanted to focus on his acting career rather than get the title of Vivamax King.
“Ang sabi ko, hindi ako sinuwerte eh, kasi I’ve been auditioning since I was five years old eh. And for eighteen years, hindi ako nabigyan ng kahit extra or support roles, so kung this year, for only in five months in Viva, tapos nakagawa ako ng ten films, I don’t think that’s luck.
“I’m not aiming for any title, it’s just a title.
As for his current roles in Vivamax, Relosa noted that he often challenges himself to portray his character differently from his previous projects.
I don’t know, personal challenge lang siya.
“Parang masaya lang kasi na, as an actor kasi di ba, your goal is to give life doon sa role na nakuha mo, sa character nakuha mo, so I believe dapat sobrang layo noon sa ibang nagawa mo eh. Especially kasi ibang movie siya. So ‘yun po ‘yun ‘yung laging goal ko.”
In an earlier interview, Relosa appreciated how people would call him the next Vivamax King.
As for their upcoming film, ‘Kahalili’ stars Stephanie Raz, Mercedes Cabral, Sid Lucero, Millen Gal, and Relosa.
Under the direction of Bobby Bonifacio Jr, ‘Kahalili’ streams via the Vivamax app starting on August 18.
