On August 1, Kapuso actor Mikoy Morales asserted that he had reached a ‘happy place’ as an artist.
At a media conference for his two Cinemalaya 2023 entries, ‘Rookie’ and ‘Tether,’ which LionhearTV covered, Morales remarked that he had the ability to consider his career and personal life now compared to before.
“Ang galing kasi, nagprogress ‘yung usapan natin over the years. Mula noon. But I think right now, I’ve reached a happy place na kung saan I think maliban sa pag-iisip at pagco-consider ng future ko sa personal life ko at home, I think career-wise, I think I’m in a really happy place.”
He then noted that he’s more open to doing more variety of projects as an artist.
“And then I think this time around, parang akala ko magiging okay na ko, pero hindi pala, eh.
He then recounted how he struggled to find his place in showbiz after Protégé ended.
Kasi, I was acting, ano pa bang napatunayan ko noon.
Paninindigan ko ba ‘to, or babalik ba ako ng pag-aaral?”
As for ‘Rookie,’ the Cinemalaya 2023 entry stars Pat Tingjuy, Aya Fernandez, and Agot Isidro.
As for ‘Tether’, Morales stars with Jorrybell Agoto, Breech Mae Valencia, Olivia Banela, and Albert Briones.
