Star Magic’s newest singing sensation, Lizzie Aguinaldo, has a remarkable family connection to none other than President Emilio Aguinaldo.
The talented young artist shared her story during a press conference on June 4, leaving everyone in awe of her lineage.
When asked about her exact relation to President Aguinaldo, Lizzie confidently replied, “Yung dad ko po, basically, great-grandfather po niya si Lolo Emilio.”
During the press conference, another intriguing question was raised, inquiring whether it was difficult or enjoyable to bear the Aguinaldo name. With a beaming smile, Lizzie replied, “Very nice naman po.”
Lizzie’s decision to pursue a career in the entertainment industry surprised her family, as she explained, “They were shocked, kasi ako pa lang sa family namin ang first na nag-showbiz. But they understand naman na dream ko talaga ito, to be a singer, and now, they’re very supportive.”
The much-anticipated launch of Lizzie’s debut single ‘Baka Pwede Na’ was met with great excitement. As part of the grand event, the singer’s music video was showcased during the media conference.

The 15-year-old singer is now successfully balancing her showbiz career and education. She is currently in Grade 9 at the British International School, which fully supports her aspirations as a singer.
In fact, her school went the extra mile to celebrate her debut single by creating a billboard in her honor. Lizzie expressed her surprise, saying, “Nagulat nga po ako. Kasi yung billboard kasing laki ng bahay namin. Nakakatuwa!”
