Music artist TJ Monterde recently showcased his romantic side by surprising his wife, fellow Kapamilya music artist KZ Tandingan.
Monterde took to TikTok to share video clips of his surprise in commemoration of their 10th anniversary since the day they first met. The clips were posted on June 29th.

In a tweet on June 30th, Monterde revealed that Tandingan was originally scheduled to perform at a private event. However, she was taken aback when Monterde appeared and serenaded her, marking the special milestone of their first encounter.
“A few weeks ago, may gig si KZ sa isang private venue dito sa QC. Pag dating dun, wala pala, walang gig, walang event — but a private dinner for two. KZ: ‘Ha? Anong meron?’ TJ: ‘It’s May 29 2023.’ KZ: ???? TJ: ‘May 29 2013, exactly 10 years ago. I met you.'”

Monterde also mentioned that the complete video capturing the surprise would be available on Sunday, July 2nd, at 7 p.m.
The love story of Monterde and Tandingan began when they were introduced by their mutual friend, Kedebon Colim.
In a 2018 interview on the show “Magandang Buhay,” they shared that Colim played a vital role as the bridge between them, introducing them to each other. After a few years of courtship, they made their relationship official in 2015.
After four years together, the couple decided to take the next step and get engaged. In 2020, they tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony held in Batangas.
