On June 26, Kapuso host Drew Arellano reacted to people calling him the ‘Ultimate Biyahero.’
At the media conference for the 10th anniversary special of ‘Biyahe ni Drew,’ Arellano shared he considers the title of ‘Ultimate Biyahero’ an honor.
“Sometimes nahihiya ako. Parang, of course, you–nakakahiya lang just to be put up on that or to have that actual name.”
However, he attributed his success as a travel show host to the team behind ‘Biyahe ni Drew.’
“But siyempre, I feel proud also kasi it’s just not me, and it’s also my team. It’s mostly my team, ako lang ‘yung humaharap sa camera.”
He then highlighted the blessings he received while hosting a travel show.
“And ‘yun nga, like what I mentioned a while ago. It’s such a blessing– it’s such an honor to host a travel show. Any travel show and to host for this long. And to do this show for this long. And to experience so many beautiful places, eat so many good food, and meet you know interesting people along the way.”
When asked about his hopes for the future of ‘Biyahe ni Drew,’ Arellano responded, “So yeah, if I can do this for another ten years, that would be awesome.”
Arellano celebrates ‘Biyahe ni Drew‘ and its 10th anniversary with his wife Iya Villania-Arellano in South Korea. The couple explores travel destinations in South Korea, such as the popular BTS bus stop and a film location of a hit K-drama. The Kapuso couple would also feature the culture and food while showing wonders and hidden gems in the country.
