The highly rated Kapuso afternoon drama ‘Arabella’ concluded its three-month run on a high note.
The series achieved strong ratings during its final week, based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM People ratings data.
On Monday, June 19, ‘Arabella’ garnered a rating of 9.8 percent, securing the number 5 spot on the ratings chart.
The following day, Tuesday, June 20, the series led by Camille Pratts maintained its number 5 ranking with a rating of 9.3 percent.
Wednesday, June 21, witnessed a significant surge for the Kapuso afternoon series, reaching 10.3 percent while holding on to its number 5 position.
However, on Thursday, June 22, the series experienced a slight drop of 0.4 percent to 9.9 percent, but it remained at the number 5 spot on the leaderboard.
During its final episode on Friday, June 23, ‘Arabella’ quickly recovered, adding 0.9 percent to achieve a rating of 10.8 percent.
In the finale, Gwen (played by Klea Pineda) was sentenced to imprisonment after being found guilty of her wrongdoings. However, she refused to rot in jail and devised a plan to escape. With the help of her friend Stacey, Gwen planned to fake her death by consuming a potion. While her plan initially appeared successful as she was taken out of prison and buried alive, her friend Stacey who was supposed to dig her up tragically died in an accident, leaving Gwen trapped underground.
