June 1 marked a momentous occasion for VivaMax as the popular streaming service celebrated a staggering milestone of 7 million subscribers.
The event was graced by the presence of the company’s top executives, Vince Del Rosario and Val Del Rosario, who shared exciting insights about the platform’s success and its newest addition, Viva One.
Vince Del Rosario, in his address to the audience, acknowledged the high expectations of VivaMax’s demanding subscribers.
“In subscribers, quite demanding sa case ng VivaMax nasanay sila na laging every week may lalabas na bago mahirap bitawan yon, sa Viva One naman mas madali siyang lumipad because yung market nasanay with Viva Max so mabilis lang siyang naka take-off,” shared Vince Del Rosario.
Val Del Rosario shed light on the company’s future plans, focusing on their commitment to deliver fresh series content regularly.
The executives exuded confidence when it came to Viva One’s coexistence with traditional cinema. Vince Del Rosario affirmed their belief in the cinema business, citing the examples of successful releases that eventually landed on Viva One.
“Walang fear kasi kung titignan yung mga pinakita na eventually lalapag sa Viva One dumaan sa sinehan, may paniniwala pa rin kami sa cinema business dapat nag coco-exist siya,” shared Vince, highlighting the importance of striking a balance between the two mediums and ensuring that both can thrive side by side.
Amidst the celebration, Vince Del Rosario disclosed that approximately 30 to 40 percent of VivaMax’s subscriber base consists of active users.
VivaMax’s resounding success can be attributed to its unique approach of catering to diverse audience preferences.
Vincent del Rosario emphasized that their realization from Play TV, where confining all genres to a single platform proved impractical, led them to introduce VivaMax as a separate streaming service. This strategic decision has paid off, allowing them to cater to specific audience segments and deliver tailored content.
In terms of international reach, Valerie del Rosario unveiled an impressive statistic. Out of the 7 million subscribers, a significant portion hails from the Middle East and North America. This revelation demonstrates VivaMax’s ability to captivate audiences globally, establishing itself as a formidable player in the streaming industry.
