“Starfish talaga ako. Yes starfish ako, but since nagvi-Vivamax ako, marami akong natutunan. So gino-goal ko na– gino-goal ko pa lang kung paano ako magiging High On Sex.”

The new Viva artist detailed her showbiz journey from being a BPO employee to one of the stars of Vivamax’s sexy series.
“I’m Aiko Garcia. I’m 23 years old. [Prior to] Before joining Pantaxa or joining Vivamax–I [was working] as a payroll specialist in one of the BPO companies [here] in the Philippines.
“Tapos na-discover ako, isa sa mga in-house photographer ng manager ko, kasi past time ko ang mag-photoshoot. So nakita nila ‘yung mga pictures through Facebook and then ininvite ako para mag-audition. And then ‘yun na.”
She then discussed the challenges of portraying a gender-fluid character in the series.
“Here on High On Sex 2, so ito na ‘yung next project ko, I’ll be playing Allaine Hugado, so–napaka-challenging kasi I was playing a gender-fluid chick. Straight girl ako, but I [have to] play the role na welcome lahat ng gender. I have a sexy scene with a girl, a guy, bakla, tomboy–abangan ninyo ‘yan.”
