Diego Loyzaga found himself at the center of media attention when questions arose about his alleged fatherhood.
However, during a press conference for the upcoming film “Will You Be My Ex?” held on June 11 at Botejyu restaurant in Gateway Mall, the host intervened and prevented certain reporters from delving into the matter, leaving the issue unresolved.
Despite not being physically present at the conference due to his current location in Perth, Australia, Loyzaga participated in the event via a Zoom meeting. The press conference featured notable Filipino actresses Julia Barretto, Bea Binene, Divine Aucina, and director Real Florido.
The speculation surrounding Loyzaga’s potential fatherhood emerged after he shared a photo on Instagram on June 8, accompanied by the caption “The best birthday gift ever.” It is worth mentioning that Loyzaga celebrated his birthday on May 21.

During the press conference, media representatives eagerly sought clarification on the swirling rumors. The first to raise the question was TV reporter MJ Marfori, who inquired about Loyzaga’s adjustment to being a new father.
“So, you’re well-adjusted as a new dad?” Marfori asked.
However, due to an unstable internet connection, Loyzaga was unable to provide an answer. The host, Jean Kiley, promptly intervened, redirecting the focus solely towards the upcoming movie.
Moments later, Analyn Jusay from Manila Bulletin posed a question to Loyzaga regarding the advice he received from his father, Cesar Montano, regarding fatherhood. Yet again, the host swiftly intercepted the question before Loyzaga could respond.
In the video footage, Loyzaga can be seen laughing when the question was asked, leaving room for speculation as to whether he intentionally avoided addressing the inquiries or if the host intervened first.

Amidst the ongoing rumors, recent comments from Loyzaga’s mother, Teresa Loyzaga, seem to lend credibility to his alleged new role as a father. In a heartfelt Facebook post, she expressed her joy at embracing her newfound status as a grandmother, affectionately referring to her new granddaughter as “little Pochola.”
Teresa’s comment on Loyzaga’s post read, “You made me a Mother. Now you made me a Glam-Ma! I couldn’t be prouder! I love you, anak, and I love my little ‘Pochola’! I wish you all the happiness and blessings in this new chapter! Mwah!! Cheers to the three of you! Yay!”
While there hasn’t been an official confirmation from Loyzaga himself regarding his fatherhood, his mother’s social media remarks strongly indicate that he has indeed become a father. With Loyzaga starring alongside Barretto in the eagerly anticipated film “Will You Be My Ex?,” the public’s curiosity surrounding his personal life continues to grow.
