Vice Ganda and Coco Martin’s “The Super Parental Guardians” has earned more than ₱250 million in six days, production outfit Star Cinema announced.
Star Cinema on their Instagram account announced this afternoon, “Congratulations Team #TheSuperParentalGuardians! 250 million thank yous sa lahat ng nanood at manonood pa! #TSPGMegaBlockbusterHit”
“The Super Parental Guardians” pulled another ₱100 million in ticket sales from the weekends.
Directed by Joyce Bernal, “The Super Parental Guardians” is about a tough-talking gang leader forced to take care of his orphaned nephews with a gay friend of his late sister-in-law. The movie also features the big screen debut of child actors Simon “Onyok” Pineda and Awra Briguela.
It is Vice Ganda and Martin’s follow-up to their massively successful “Beauty and the Bestie,” which holds the record for the highest grossing Filipino film of all time which finished its box-office run with a more than ₱520 million gross.
