ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida lineup is steadily closing the gap with its rival programs on GMA Telebabad.
According to the latest rating reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, Kapamilya primetime teleseryes are now in close competition with their Kapuso counterparts.
On Monday, May 29, FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ scored 13.4 percent, just 0.1 percent lower than Voltes V: Legacy’s 13.5 percent. ‘The Iron Heart’ also narrowed the margin with ‘Hearts on Ice’, achieving 7.7 percent compared to 9.8 percent.
Rival Kapamilya shows, ‘Unbreak My Heart’ and ‘Dirty Linen’, also had close matches at 6.9 percent and 4.9 percent, respectively.
Asianovelas ‘Eve’ and ‘Tale of Nokdu’ registered close margins as well, with ratings of 3.2 percent and 2.0 percent, respectively.
On the following day, Tuesday, May 30, the Primetime Bida shows maintained a close gap against Telebabad, with FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ leading at 14.0 percent against Voltes V: Legacy’s 13.1 percent.
‘The Iron Heart’ narrowed the gap with Hearts on Ice to just 1 percent, achieving 8.1 percent compared to 9.1 percent.
‘Dirty Linen’ also closed its gap with ‘Unbreak My Heart’ to 1.7 percent, reaching 4.3 percent against 6.0 percent. ‘Tale of Nokdu’ scored 1.6 percent against Eve’s 2.7 percent, with a 0.9 percent margin.
On Wednesday, May 31, FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ maintained its lead against ‘Voltes V’, with ratings of 13.3 percent and 12.3 percent, respectively.
‘The Iron Heart’ and ‘Dirty Linen’ continued to keep close gaps with their Kapuso rivals: ‘Hearts on Ice’, ‘Unbreak My Heart’, and ‘Eve’, achieving 7.0 percent against 9.3 percent and 4.3 percent against 6.6 percent, respectively.
This latest rating trend demonstrates the strength of the Primetime Bida lineup. This is considering the small reach they have on A2Z and TV5 compared to the extensive reach of GMA Network and GTV.
