On May 18, comedienne Pokwang (Marietta Subong) responded to her ex, Lee O’ Brian’s Mother’s Day Greeting.
Through her Twitter account, Pokwang claimed that her ex-husband never greeted her on Mother’s Day or her Birthdays in the past two years. She also called O’ Brian ‘manggagamit’ or user.
She also claimed that O’ Brian has an upcoming role in a film, which prompted the Mother’s Day Greeting.

After that, the comedienne also shared a video story of her daughter Malia with the caption showing her motherly love, “My strength, my energy, my reason why I need to fight and survive every day.”
On May 14, O’ Brian wrote on his Instagram account, “Happiest of Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there – to my very own, to the mother of my child, to my aunts and cousins, friends and all the women – who raise and nurture their children. We literally would not be here without you!! Thank you for what you do.”
In 2022, Pokwang confirmed that she separated from O’Brian.
Her friend, the Showbiz reporter-talent manager Ogie Diaz confirmed the couple’s separation in 2021.
