President Rodrigo Duterte failed to show up on the scheduled interview of Kris Aquino for her supposed grand comeback on television titled “Kris At Duterte” live at the SMX Convention Center in Lanang, Davao City on November 11, 2016.
According to Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion that President Duterte had a “bad migraine” and couldn’t make it.
During its live telecast on TV5 and People’s Television, Kris appeared to reveal that the supposed one-on-one interview with the President is most likely not happening.
“Minsan ang mga first date hindi natutuloy,” Aquino joked on stage upon entry.
She also appealed to the President, “Pres. Duterte give me a chance. I hope one day mamahalin mo rin ako. Gusto ko rin kayo makilala.”
Moderated by Kris Aquino, other guests at the townhall discussion at “Kris At Duterte” are Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez, Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary Emmanuel Piñol, and Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship and Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion.
