Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez apologized to Janella Salvador after accidentally surprising her during their performance.
On May 7, a video on Twitter surfaced featuring Salvador singing. During her performance, Velasquez said some words which surprised Salvador.
A Netizen guessed that Velasquez guided Salvador in singing.

Velasquez explained that she told Salvador to sing her part during their performance.
On Instagram, Salvador also shed light on what happened.
“’Janella… Janella! Ikaw na kumanta ng verse ko.’
“…was what she said because she wanted me to have more singing parts. Best believe I was nervous as this happened on the spot (which is why I kind of messed up the words) but I just wanted to immortalize this experience and show you what a true queen @reginevalcasid is.
And now I can finally cross out… a duet with Asia’s Songbird,” Salvador posted.
