In a recent interview during the Warner Music Philippines’ We Play Here music festival on April 27, Dilaw, the Baguio, Benguet-based band behind the Internet sensation Uhaw, revealed that their latest release, Sansinukob got written due to a hangover.
Sansinukob is Dilaw’s highly anticipated EP produced under Warner Music Philippines.
“A collection of songs that speaks about the universal experience and struggles people face – and seeks ways to help people understand themselves and the world better,” said the band’s frontman, Dilaw Obrero, referring to their successful debut EP.
More songs and appearances from Dilaw were confirmed by Dilaw Obrero.
Viloria added.
Uhaw by Dilaw is taking the internet by storm with 35 million streams on Spotify. From song covers to dance choreography, Uhaw is definitely a hit and simply unmissable for many.
“‘Wow’,” Viloria answered when asked during the interview about how they reacted towards the sudden fame the band gained from their hit song.
