Kapuso star Alden Richards claimed he needed Julia Montes for his comeback film after 4 years.
Richards and Montes are set to star in the film ‘Five Break-Ups And A Romance’. At the film’s press conference on April 18, the actor said that working with Julia was what he needed for his movie comeback.
But now it’s time to venture into a more mature role.
She fits perfectly for it and since comeback ko po ito parang I needed someone like her to be in the movie again after so long,” he said.
Richards’ last film was the acclaimed film ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ back in 2019 where he starred with Kathryn Bernardo. It currently holds the title of “highest-grossing Philippine film of all time”. It also won several accolades, including the Box Office Entertainment and PMPC Star awards.
Meanwhile, Julia Montes admitted that she quickly agreed to the collaboration because of the film’s storyline. She also praised Richards for his behavior on and off camera.
‘Five Break-Ups And A Romance’ is written and directed by Irene Emma Villamor. CS Studios will partner with GMA Pictures and Myriad to produce the film.
