Kim Chiu is replacing Yen Santos as Gerald Anderson’s leading lady in ABS-CBN’s upcoming drama titled “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” under Dreamscape Entertainment production.
When asked about her initial reaction about this reunion project with ex-boyfriend Gerald, Kim admitted she was initially reluctant to accept the project.
“Siyempre ‘pag um-oo at ako humindi, may reaction ang mga tao. Kung aanuhin ang issue noon, ang luma na nun. Kinakabahan ako sa mga sasabihin ng mga tao,” she answered.
Directed by Dan Villegas, “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” is about three spirited triathletes from different socio-economic backgrounds tangled in a “love triangle” and a race for success in their sport.
Other stars included in the series are Ivan Carapiet, Juan Miguel Severo, Nico Manalo, Ayen Laurel, Bing Loyzaga, Helen Gamboa, Jake Cuenca and Coleen Garcia.
Slated for airing on the first quarter of 2017, “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” now serves as the reunion of KimErald after six years. Their last teleserye together was “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” in 2010.
