On April 13, Carla Abellana, a Kapuso actress, referred to Dennis Trillo as one of the “greatest leading men” in the entertainment industry.
At the pocket interview for ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ which LionhearTV covered, Abellana highlighted the easy chemistry between the Kapuso stars.
Abellana shared, “Of course, yes, definitely easy. Given na ‘yan that, he is one of the best, if not the best leading men out there in the industry. Walang hesitation, I will gladly work with Dennis over and over. Napaka-comfortable ko na ka-trabaho si Dennis, ka-eksena si Dennis.”
She also described Trillo as a dedicated, passionate, and serious actor.
She then discussed her and Trillo’s characters in the upcoming GMA Network sci-fi series, ‘Voltes V: Legacy’.
“Ito mahirap kasi Dennis being a Boazanian, galing siya sa ibang planeta, maiinlove siya sa isang human being. So, medyo iba, iba ‘yung I guess, ‘yung pairing na makikita nila. Iba ‘yung partnership, ‘yung tandem kasi paano ba magwo-work ‘yun na isang alien ay mai-inlove sa isang human being,” she shared.
The actress added, “So more on, si Mary Ann Armstrong, magiging guide sa kaniya bilang nasa planet Earth na siya. So more on, nangangapa pa si Ned Armstrong as a human being and mas makikita talaga nila yung love story talaga nila Ned Armstrong and Mary Ann Armstrong. So, may ganong perspective or angle dito sa Voltes V Legacy, kung paano ba, paano ba na-develop ‘yung kwento noong dalawa, ‘yung mag-asawa.”
Miguel Tanfelix, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, Raphael Landicho, and Ysabel Ortega are the stars of the television series ‘Voltes V: Legacy’.
Martin del Rosario, Liezel Lopez, Carlo Gonzales, Gabby Eigenmann, Neil Ryan Sese, Albert Martinez, Christian Vasquez, Abellana, Trillo, and numerous other actors are also included in the cast.
The Mark Reyes-directed sci-fi adaptation from Kapuso will debut shortly on GMA Network.
In addition, ‘Voltes V Legacy’: The Cinematic Experience will be shown in SM Cinemas nationwide from April 19 to 25, giving moviegoers a chance to see the first three weeks of the series before its eagerly anticipated May launch on primetime television.
