Barking up the wrong tree?
It seems social media influencer Rendon Labador’s beef with Coco Martin and FPJ’s Batang Quiapo is far from over.
In his latest social media post, Labador slammed the Kapamilya actor again, using his same old argument about FPJBQ’s shooting. This caused poor sales for Quiapo vendors.
Labador posted, “STORBO SA QUIAPO!!!!

In his post, Labador attached a video clip of an ongoing shooting in Quiapo.
However, the video featured the location shoot of GMA Network’s action-fantasy series ‘Mga Lihim ni Urduja’ and not Coco Martin’s FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ prompting several netizens to ask who’s the real “tanga-tangahan” between him and Martin.
Labador’s gripes against the “Primetime King” started when one Quiapo vendor shared his concern on social media concerning the disruptions caused by the shooting at FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
Riding on the popularity of the post, Labador appeared in a Facebook live video calling out the Kapamilya actor and FPJBQ’s production.
It was followed by several other Facebook posts blasting Martin for disturbing small vendors in Quiapo.
Just recently, he accused Martin and his fans of zero ticket sales at his resto-bar opening.
Meanwhile, Coco Martin brushed off all Labador’s criticism.
In his interview with MJ Marfori, posted on Instagram on March 21, 2023, Martin said he just tries to understand those comments. He noted they secured all the necessary permits from City Hall.
