At the media conference for the upcoming Viu and GMA Network series, The Write One on March 11, Kapuso celebrity couple Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid answered whether they would want to rewrite anything in their relationship.
Madrid asserted that the mistakes they (he and Bianca) made in the past helped them learn as a couple.
“Actually, sa lahat ng mga pinagdaanan namin ni Bianca, alam ko hindi kami perfect sa relationship namin, hindi naging perfect talaga. Alam ko sa sarili ko na wala akong ire-rewrite kasi sa lahat ng mga pagkakamaling nagawa namin sa nakaraan doon kami natuto, at ‘yun ang nakapagpa-stick sa amin kaya hanggang ngayon magkasama pa rin kami.”
Umali agreed with Madrid by saying, “Alam kong ‘yun ‘yung answer niya, and I know that he knows that I would answer the same. So no, we wouldn’t rewrite.”
Earlier, Umali admitted that she and Madrid have misunderstandings every now and then.
“And again, aminado naman kami na wala naman talagang– being in a relationship– being in a relationship, wala naman talagang perfect na relationship. May maliliit na tampuhan lalo na for us, na we are together every single day, working. So I guess, it normal to be burned out a little bit. Pero, okay naman.”
As for the upcoming series, Umali and Madrid star in the Kapuso series, The Write One.
The Kapuso series, in partnership with Viu, features Paul Salas, Mikee Quintos, Monching Gutierrez, Lotlot de Leon, Karenina Haniel, Analyn Barro, Yvette Sanchez, Eva Le Queen, Alma Concepcion, Mon Confiado, Kaloy Tingcungco, Migs Villasis, Euwenn Mikaell Aleta, and many more.
Directed by King Mark Baco, The Write One premieres on March 20 via GMA Telebabad and early streaming on Viu on March 18.
